Snickerdoodle Recipe Without Cream of Tartar

(4.98 stars) 132 reviews
This snickerdoodle recipe makes snickerdoodles that are soft and chewy in the middle, yet crispy and lightly puffed around the edges. The best part? Unlike most traditional snickerdoodle recipes, this recipe does NOT use cream of tartar. The recipe uses baking powder instead! As a result, it's likely that you already have all the ingredients you need to make these cookies at home!

Other 2022 Highlights

2022 was a weird year—even weirder than 2020 and 2021. I’m hoping I can share more soon in the near future, but for now, here’s some of the highlights from the last year:

I took my first international trips since January 2020!

bread ahead chocolate donuts on metal sheet pan

This year, Erlend and I roadtripped to Vancouver, Canada when the US-Canadian border opened. I got to hang out with my friend Amy from Constellation Inspiration and eat a ton of amazing food!

Additionally, we travelled to Berlin, Germany in May. I also got to go on a girl’s trip with my mom to London, England in the late summer. I’m so excited that travel is a part of my life again—I was a huge traveller before the pandemic, and am so grateful I was able to starting doing that again this year.

Erlend and I eloped in Las Vegas!

After delaying our wedding for 2+ years, we finally decided to pull the trigger. We eloped! We got married in Las Vegas in a cheesy strip mall ceremony that took a grand total of 5 minutes, with just two of our closest as witnesses. It was perfect!
