Portland Farmer’s Market, Late Summer/Early Fall
Yesterday morning, Erlend and I got up early to go to the Portland Farmer’s Market. It had been a while since we last went. Because despite my love for the farmer’s market, I’d been constantly overwhelmed by the large summer crowds. However, September’s first gray weekend day kept away most of the crowds and allowed us to freely explore the market without any of the stress.
We were not disappointed by the bounty:
That’s Erlend above, insisting that I stop taking pictures and try a tomatillo. I did. It tasted… tropical.
Beautiful pics!
I want to visit these kind of markets, they look inspirational. Beautiful photography, thanks for sharing.
Oh my goodness, looks like a wonderful trip! I need to get out there SOON!
I just picked a basket of San Marzanos from my backyard. It's not fall YET!
